JFA Systems has launched an overseas bookings management system for family ski holiday specialist Ski Famille.

The unveiling of the new tool, Rep Assist, comes just days before Travel Technology Europe (TTE), on February 22-23, where JFA Systems will be exhibiting for the first time in several years.

The return to the exhibition and new product follows the technology company’s celebration of its 25th anniversary last year, and the next stage in JFA’s “All you need is Diamond” strategy.

Rep Assist will enable overseas reps to obtain live information directly from JFA’s Diamond reservations system, a browser-based platform focused on streamlining and managing the reservation process and associated functions.

Via Rep Assist, the reps will be able to manage rooming lists, transfer manifests and no-shows and make last-minute changes. The tool also contains an “extras” contracting system, enabling users to negotiate extras costs with suppliers along with a pricing module, allowing Ski Famille to sell the extras in either sterling or local currency and at prices that may vary from pre-departure levels. This enables resort staff to offer guests a full range of extras, including ski schools, lift passes and ski hire.

Jim Fatah, JFA Systems chairman, said: “This helps tour operators enhance their customer service, as well as increase revenue and save on costs from a third party. “This is the next stage in our objective to make ‘All you need is Diamond’ a truism, following the launch of Amethyst, which allows operators to book low-cost flights and cross-Channel journeys without third-party fees.”

The launch follows last year’s release of the company’s Quartz tool, a standalone extras system which was developed initially for Crystal Ski.

JFA will be exhibiting at TTE on stand T278.
